Our Story

Real Life Curriculum started with nothing more than an idea.

Back then, we had no studio, no clear plan and no real clue what we were doing. All we had were a couple of microphones, a small setup in the house and a belief that there were lessons in life that people needed to hear.

We recorded our first five episodes as audio only. There were no cameras, no polished set and no big production. We learned everything as we went, figuring it out one episode at a time.

Even though the setup was simple, the message was always bigger than the room we were recording in.

Real Life Curriculum was built on the idea that some of the most important things in life are never taught in school. Lessons about resilience, setbacks, growth, confidence and becoming the person you are meant to be.

As the podcast grew, so did the vision.

Then we were contacted by Leicester Podcast Studio, which was preparing to open in our city. After visiting the space and recording an episode there, we instantly fell in love with it.

What started as a single recording soon became much more. We built a great relationship with the owner and from that point on, the studio became the new home of Real Life Curriculum.

Since then, we have welcomed guests from all walks of life onto the podcast. Every conversation has brought new lessons, different perspectives and real stories that people can relate to.

The move to the studio allowed us to do more than just record podcasts. It gave us the chance to create practical lessons, ask deeper questions and provide even more value to the people who listen and watch.

Real Life Curriculum is still growing, and in many ways we are still a work in progress.

But that is what the brand has always been about.

Learning as you go. Growing through the journey. And sharing the lessons along the way.
